Hi all!
I thought its about time i made a thread in here as my project engine is about to take shape.

My block is an A+ rebored to +20.
Its having pockets machined into it for a 940 head. But i can still put a 240 on it afterwards if i choose to do so. (please correct me if i cant).
Im trying to find a standard 940 head but they have all dissapeard in manchester!
Im thinking of using an SW5 cam.
P20773 pistons from either minispares or minisport. (which ever is cheeper i suppose)
Crank worked by minisport, hardned and balanced full assembly.
T15 turbo.

the heads come up all the time keep looking:)
20773 pistons dont klnow anything about them but there could be better ones for less... Have a search the ones from aus seem to be liked...
GT15 i think there is 2 or3 people using these now

The 20773s are fine if you use the buttons rather than the circlips. I've run them pretty reliabably upto 18psi and 140bhp.

Realistically 10psi and 100bhp will give good life as long as fuel, ignition and charge temps are all spot on.

To be honest though, the hypertecs from minispares are better, but they will need a dish machining in them. and some people think this leaves the crowns a little thin, but mine seem fine.

Ill do a search on the circlip thing, was it just an unfortunate thing that happened or are you saying the circlip WILL be useless on those pistons?

Will be using a HIF44, MJ and an intercooler. not sure what type yet though.

Do the hypertecs come in +20?
Think i last saw the 20773's at £130 a set or their abouts from minispares. Minisport have the same piston but are more expensive.
