Got to a stage where the car was looking tatty and needed some attention. Wanted reliable power and decided to use a 1.8vvc k-series from an mgtf mounted in the rear. Take a look at the pictures any helpfull advice welcomed. Im using my brothers account and thats why the names dont match.

most of the time (imo) the mini hybrids using other cars subframes should be left alone, a certain honda one springs to mind........

Looks like good workmanship, but please for the love of god remove those wheels lol 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Yeah that type r one with the big wheels that has been in all the mags looks dog shit if you ask me.
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Wheels arent at the top of the 'to do' list at the moment. But those 'dog shit' wheels arent staying lol.

TR7 wheels are the correct PCD and are 13". They are close to fitting (It depends on offset and shape of the inside of the wheel) they can foul on the bottom arms on the rear. This was on a MG TF rear frame, not sure about the F, it may be better. Tim Rowe

There is a conversion guide for TF stalks on a mini over on TMF somewhere. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Got some more bits done. Startin on mounting steering column. Im using a metro column as the MGF one has power steering ect.
