Is anyone running a CAS sensor(Crank angle sensor, just incase you guys over the pond use a different term...) And do I have to have one for anything the siamese code requires?

You will need both a crank position sensor and a cam position sensor if you want to use the full sequential injection option of the code (which should be what you want since the other option may be too much of a compromise).

The most obvious choice is to use m-n wheel on the crank (such as a 36-1) and a 1 tooth cam wheel (which can be done in the distributor). You can use either VR sensors or hall sensors or a mix of both (but if you use 2 VR sensors or 2 Hall sensors you will need some additional hardware).

Have a look at the many posts on the subject and it should all be covered. And if you're not familiar with the Megasquirt ECU, you should try to read up on it on the msextra forum (http://www.msextra.com/index.php and register to see all the forums) and in the manual (http://www.msextra.com/ms2extra/). There is also some additional information on my site: http://jbperf.com/sequential/index.html.
