The mini started life on an A plate as a mini city, bought by an elderly lady from kent for which i still have the bill of sale and a letter from the lady owner to the mini dealer saying how pleased she was with it and what a great car it was.I then have no history on the car until it was bought by a man from surrey about 10 years ago who worked at brandshatch race track and wanted a track car for a bit of fun, he caged the mini stuck a 1380 in with a few other bits wellers, bucket seats etc and went for his life. The mini was then later sold to a friend of mine about 8 years ago who had it for a short spell, but had to get rid to fund a wedding, this is where i came in!. Once i bought the car i didnt do much, it just sat while i went off travelling the world until last year i rolled it into the shed and started my first ever project.
I started by ripping everything out to bare shell and then shot blasting to find more rot than i expected but for the age not to bad i guess!

I love the Compromotives.

Are you not going to refit the 'real' cage?
