Hello everyone,

The engine and box currently in my MPI are on their last legs so, I have been looking in to some options.

My current preference is to use the 1330 MED built block with their road comp head. This will be used with an LCB and adjustable fuel pressure reg. However, I am unsure as to how the MEMS will cope with this...

Can I use the above spec with the standard ECU? If so, what sort of power can I expect before it starts to struggle?

Ultimately I would like to go down the Megasquirt/Canems route but I'm just trying to work out if I can save a bit of money in the short-term and run it with MEMS for a while...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Kieran

Hi,
I can't see why not, but with any modification take it to be checked on the rollers. I'd be tempted to try without the adjustable pressure reg first, on the rollers of course!
Cheers,
Gavin :)
