Well,

They have really managed to piss me and the missus off today...

We went in to look at notebook cases, and i spotted those pay as you go vodaphone usb modem thingies, (was en route to get one of these from vodaphone anyway).

at the till, the was some bod from the warehouse who really didnt have much idea what he was doing but was at least trying, when he got to the modem (which was just a display case) he called some spotty speckky twat over, to go out the back to get the real item,

he actually had to remind said speccky twat twice while he was still within sight what he was supposed to be doing...

upon specky's return we were presented with an item that had the void seal broken on it. Warehouse boy then proceeded to try to scan it and was confronted by a message saying the number was void.

warehouse boy then calls specky back, (who had immediatley fucked off when he saw there was a problem). he asks specky to phone vodaphone, who flatly refuses saying "I'm not phoning them, they don't answer, and they hung up up me last time"

a debate ensues between an un impressed warehouse boy and spekky twat along the lines of can you help/take over/do somthing as i'm from the warehouse and don't know what i'm doing,....

at this point me an my missus stepped in and pointed out that they were a shower of bastards, and could stuff this sale and all future sales up their arses, and that we would be making a compaint, which we have done.

I will never set foot in another pc world....

Popped in the Colchester branch Christmas Eve day........the bloody price of stuff! Was desperate for some dvdr's! Typical example of pricing, Epsom cartridge set £58.........go online with ebay etc £15 for genuine Epsom.

The best part was the whole computer system went down in the store! Quality. :)

The only use for PC World (and a lot of big-name stores nowadays) is to go and look at something physically....... before buying it on the internet.

i tend to just compare the price between PC world - and www.ebuyer.com

i've ordered the best part of £800+ from ebuyer over the last few years, with not one complaint. Always delivered on time, always an early delivery and as yet have never had anything out of stock that i've ordered.
