I've often wondered about these types which I first saw (i think) on weber alpha conversions - everytime you want to remove your crank pulley do you have to re-align your pole-wheel, unless you find a way of locating it?

How often do you remove your crank pulley?

Hi,
The one I've seen Dave, yes there's no locating device at all.
I think it was SCs but my brain isn't good enough to swear to it! Held on by a big cap head bolt.
Cheers,
Gavin :)

I have both the above items! the SC trigger kit doesn't have a locating dowel. But after I got it running in the correct position I just center dotted the crank and trigger ring so that you can refit them in the same position after you have took it too bits.
Rich if i was you i would strengthen the bottom part of the engine mount on the bulkhead as mine broke after a short while! Ron

Cant say enough for the guys in Wymondham... Obviously all of the alloy parts I have from them are top-notch, but its the service I've had thats most impressive. Always on the end of the phone/email or most importantly there in person. I've had loads of questions, and although they must be getting a little frustrated now, they never complain.

Highly recommended...

I received my spanking new billet rear hubs this week. Quality components, shame there not more visable when they're fitted!
