Hi all, I found this part, it's a KKK turbo from Seat Toledo 1,9 diesel TAXI. Please, do you have any idea what can i do?

the first picture is a supercharger :) it would in my eyes be quite difficult to convert a turbo into a supercharger. as for the turbo its self it wont be much use on a peterol turbo as it will run out of puff on higher revs Edited by Paul R on 14th Nov, 2008. Drives

Just buy a supercharger?!?! Why would you go to all that effort? Turbos aren't designed to take drive from a metre long shaft which obviously isn't well balanced. Wouldn't you need loads of proper bearings to stop it shitting itself in no time? Major waste of time imo On 12th Nov, 2009 Paul S said:

thank you all very much for your help. I would like to convert to supercharger because of the reliability of "A series" engine, my mini is for daily driving, I don't want to increase to much power. The current engine is SPi However I have a 998cc block and an SU carb for this conversion, I believe is a fine idea to start. Also at Greece is very difficult and expensive to buy these parts.... Thank you again, if I start I will inform you again |
