I'd like to recommend to anyone needing ratchet straps to contact these guys.

I bought a pair of 4m ratchet straps with wheel cross straps from them last year to lash the DON to trailers etc when moving it about, I was pleased (and still am) with the quality and price of the straps.

Unfortunately the other day one of the straps worked loose (my fault) and ended up getting some road rash to both ends. Obviously damage like this is enough to render a webbing strap as scrap.

I phoned up Damar and asked if they could supply the replacement lengths I needed, this was absolutely no problem and they couldn't have been more helpful. Some places would have just tried to sell me another complete strap, but the ratchet mechanism etc was still fine.

From phoning up yesterday morning about 10am, they have made the bits I needed, and they have just arrived at the door. Really great service and a helpful firm, highly recommended by me.

EDIT: As with Tom's experience they arrived pretty quickly and look like a good bit of kit.
