hi i want to put a metro turbo engine in my mini but have been told that i need an ecu of it, whats it do? i thought it was a carbed engine, is it essential or can i work round it? cheers |

All the ecu does is control the boost. Most people bin them as you dont really need it. |

No you don't need the ECU. The Metro Turbo ECU is basically an electronic bleed valve which is used to control the boost.
