Hello folks! Bit of a plug...
We invite you all to the Eastbourne and District Mini Club Pilgrimage to Canterbury.
Details are now finalised and I can confirm that we will be leaving Beachy Head in Eastbourne at 10.30am and arriving at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital approximately 3pm. We will also be stopping at a pub for lunch where a BBQ will be laid on for under £8 per person.
The drive will involve a minitastic route through the country side, including a short navigation exercise. Maps and routes will be provided.
Local resident, Derek Ware, who appeared in the original Italian Job film, and was also one of the stunt co-ordinators will be seeing us off from Beachy Head. He is looking forward to meeting those taking part and will be happy to sign autographs and pose for photos.
Entry is only £10 per car which includes a run plaque and route details. Any funds raised will go to the Lee Spark NF Foundation http://www.nfsuk.org
If you would like more details and application forms please do not hesitate to contact me. The closing date for this event is 2nd June. Late applications or just turning up on the day is welcome but a run plaque may not be avalaible.
