Just thought i'd post a pic of my alternator setup, after a bit of fiddling me and Gary came up with this setup, saves using 2 adjustor brackets and from memory the belt is 780mm. I dont theres any way to make it more compact will just have to see how it holds up.

I just thought I'd show you guys how I've mounted my alternator. It gives me lots of room for intercooler and rad up front.

I've mounted my alternator right down low near the subframe, I've had to move the oil filter housing a bit to the left, but this gave me a good place to take filtered oil take off to my turbo and head. Also got an oil temp sensor in there too.

Good idea, i saw a similar setup on a car the other day using a spherical joint hanging down from the original mount if that makes sense.

Heres my setup from the front, i made a new bracket to mount on the block and then a new one that fitted a bit like the first picture but fitted onto the water pump with two more holes. Maybe a bit overkill but i hadnt a clue how else to do it. the fancy spacer which serves no purpose is a Hayabusa engine mount.

Similar setup. Made a bracket from aluminum and turned it around. larger pulley to keep the revs down and just keep enough juice in the battery for the race.
