Please dont read this little guide as me "slating" the mirage product, its not, its solely a guide for those of yu like myself whos down pipe and link pipe need a little adjustment.

Firstly, Turbo elbow. This needed a larger wedge to be cut into one of the existing ones, 1/2" of material was left at the rear of the elbow (to allow a "hinge") and approx 4mm of metal was needed to be removed from the front edge (progressivly less as you move around to the rear of the elbow) giving you a wedge shape. This was done to re angle the pipe away from engine.

Secondly, the down pipe was cut in 2 sections along the weld at the "lowest" point. The top section had 1/2" of metal removed and the slots which allow clamping to the elbow opened up back to their original size.

This section of pipe was cut in 2 as mine needed to be rotated as it was pointing off in the wrong direction, you can see from the pic when you look at my pi** poor cut compared to the marker pen line that it was only needed to be rotated a few degrees but was necessary.

Not everyone will need to do this, just one or two that are unlucky enough to have one that is a little out.
I just wanted to add this as a guide to what I did to overcome it, for those of you that are or were in the same situation I was a few weeks back.
Hope this hlps
Shane

Really sorry you have had this problem.

When they go on right you dont need to force the exhaust end of the elbow much at all. More of a good tweak if you know what i mean.

If anyone has trouble please let me know and i'll sort it.
