usefull to insert our face in a tree..
brake/security isn't something whith wich we can play , even if this guy had done a proper job (acurate machining instead of this shit ,have you seen all the swarf around piston seals? ,the small amount, if any left around assembly seal?, plus this done on old secound hand parts, which at min would need a complete rebuild+ pads and machined discs).
I don't think this link to be usefull but highly dangerous.
buy a set of new calipers ,they're well engineered, cheap, nice and new, and you'll save a lot more than going this way, a least your life, or an other one

i did something similar but i modified the hub as i thought machining the caliper would be more risky. it worked well and was fitted to a road car for some years.

BUT! THERE IS A DANGER OF DEATH

if you get this slightly wrong and machine to close, the caliper could fail under extreme pressure.

Just fit S discs, its much easier and they work well with the right pads.

I know someone who looked into this many years ago. In the end, he kept breaking through on a number of calipers and wasn't happy that the ones he didn't break through with had enough metal left to keep it safe.

While I understand people want to find cheeper alternatives to upgrade brakes, safety is paramount

the breaking through is probably when he was grinding the top/outer away to clear as this was quite common to do in the past. but i see this method as a more reliable method that area is not a weak point the hub is weaker there than the calliper also it doesnt interfere with any fluid ways. but as stated safety is important so all machining should be carried out by someone competent.

People you have short memories! There wasn't always 4 pot alloy calipers and the modified racecraft calipers used to be fitted to every Miglia back in the 80s. His proviso I seem to remember was that he would only mod brand new calipers. This type of engineering is as dangerous as the person that does it! After all blanking holes and retapping threads is the main part of the K head conversion and we don't hear people say oh you'll blow up your engine if you do this!!!!
