Been reading a lot of the MPI posts recently, and it seems that a some of the solutions out there appear to be little more than than wet manifolds with twin injectors.

This got me thinking, about trying an SPI set up (I'm going to be running a Omex 500 or 600 ECU in the clubby so all it'll cost is a throttle body & a few bits & bobs). So after reading through all Dave's old posts on injection (there's more than a couple if you can be arsed to search & they're worth a read) I've gained a good understanding as to what the draw backs are with the SPI set-up and it would appear that they could be prevented by running two injectors sequentially (Dave talks about this) anyway I was wandering if any one had tried this?

It looks like lots of compressor injected engines run with such setup. With Emerald3D
I don't think there is any drawback with SPI if you only want power.
Autonomy is another story.
