Build a "decent" LSIS for £1,000?

Anyone attempted to do one of these?

I have an MK Indy, cost a little more than £1000 tho! Pics later after work...
I have the book, carefull scourcing of parts ie good cheap donor and no fancy shiny bits or alloys and i recon i could get close, may sell mine and start again just for the enjoyment i got out of the build*happy*
