Ok it is in, Don't like the sharp angles.

Could well result in power loss over smooth flowing bends.

giallofly I though that I must admit
but I was struggling to smooth the corners out more; still I can always use the bends I have made as a templete now and make another set !!

I was also struggling to mig a perfect seal without any pin holes, the outer edge was fair enough easy to do and test with water, but the inner welds are impossible to test so have coated them in liquid metal stuff

Happy enough for theRollers though dont you think ?

I mean if i change it later the dyno set up should still be good as all I would be doing is improving flow dont you think ?

B12, try to test your welds the same way as you would test a bicycle tyre after repairing the flat. Get it under pressure and than submerge it in water.

Steve, no worries just my honest opinion. Smooth is best for any flow. It will do for now no dought, just a point for future development.

Proven 200+bhp & Avon Park 05,06,07 Class D 3rd place

I wouldn't think that the bends will be a loss of power mate, as once under boost it will find it's way in ok.

Cheers guys

I was looking at TD's pictures and I am really unhappy about where my air filter is ;
SO methinks I will try and re-route under the top hose and run the pipe just behind the grill like TD

I was really happy with the air filter sitting on top of the alternator ....

I am waffling arnt I

Bed time bekons ..

Quick (q) when its on the rollers , shall I put my air filter at the front of the car ( as i can coz the bonnet will be of) or leave it where it shall really be ; ie up by the wiper motor

I rekon I should make 330 BHP at the wheels .... nar not really I hope for 65 at least ...

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

id leave it where it is, means that it gets set up just the same as it will be on the road. Unless your just after a big bhp number...

End of the day its all driveability for most people.
