Nice job ! However I'd like to find a stock-looking setup because in France any engine mod are forbidden. I saw this "Brede Alnes of TS Racing" in the same thread, but did not find it on the web. Bugger, I was hoping to retire to France in a few years. You will stuggle to find anything stock-looking. The only port injection manifold for the A series is the MPI. Brede Alnes' car was featured in Mini Magazine a few months back, but his manifold is homemade. France is one of best countries for old cars. Look at the list of my cars. They cost nothing in taxes and insurance (Maserati costs me 100 euros per year). The MOT is ridiculous and there is no limitations for usage of old (well, after WWII) cars. But if one day cops see you going faster than a modern sport car they could ask you to open the hood. And then you are a dead man.

How about inserting a 20mm alu piece between the intake manifold and the head. The piece would be the mount point for injectors. std 998 A+, g295, MD266, RHF4, 109hp @0.8bar/5400rpm |

sounds ok as long as you can get a decent angle on the injector. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

It would be a bit tight. You would have to mount the injectors vertically. Ideally they should point into the port. Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

I checked, it must be possible to have a proper angle.

I still have to write the injection part firmware LOL. But it should not be so long. std 998 A+, g295, MD266, RHF4, 109hp @0.8bar/5400rpm |

Just make sure that you allow for individual timing of the injection firing.

Yes of course I'll do that. I'll have a very flexible injection timing. std 998 A+, g295, MD266, RHF4, 109hp @0.8bar/5400rpm |
