Does anybody know of a suitable turbo other than from the Renault 5 that has a similar compressor and turbine size.

Anybody got details or experience of the Punto unit?

Any good threads on this subject on this forum?

search for the GT17 info.

Even new, these turbos arent horrendously expensive, and the more modern units do spool much better, and produce more power than much larger old T-series turbos

Obviously not quite a direct swap though.

9.85 @ 145mph
202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
