Hi all, first off sorry if this has been asked before, ive tried searching the net, here and other forums, and not really found the answer i need.

You don't need a turbo head. For lower amounts of boost, you don't need turbo pistons either. Be careful - if you don't run it lean and don't crank the boost up into detonation, you'll be OK with an engine that's in good shape to start with. Also, check your compression ratio! If the engine was set up with high compression, then you'll need to reduce it to run boost. Edited by fortfun on 28th Oct, 2007. 1275 with Back Door Turbo |
