going to be fitting 10x6 wheels to my mini and also require new arches, i have been looking at the group 6 ones, i have only seen them with 13inch wheels so was wandering if the wheels will look a little small underneath them, has anybody got 10x6 wheels fitted? if so what arches have you got? a picture would be brilliant, thanks *smiley*

thanks, i think the best thing i can do is when i have the wheels, fit them and measure how much they stick out, then get the best looking arches to suit

Standard arches and 10x6 gb's stick ever so slightly over the edge but nothing major.

Grp 2s should work ok with any sensible offset 6" rim.

Matty generally the Wellers have a greater offset than most of the alloys as they were originally intended to work with the drum brakes so they couldn't go in as they are a fair bit narrower than the disc set up and the tyres would hit the shocks.

If you measure the offset on them and compare them with most of the alloys (GB, Minator, Revs, 100+ etc.) you'll find they are about 8-12mm different.

Something like my 13x6s would look lost under the Grp 5s!!!

Everyone keeps saying that....the only thing was the rear arches were a nightmare as they really didn't follow the radius of the wheels, and the chrome strip don't get me started..lol

I really need to sort my offset out as they torque steer is manic, I was soooo close to buying a pair of mamba's at combe for track days as I believe they are quite inset, but I really want something that will suit the car (and fill the arches) for road use as this is where it has the majority of its use.
