right the prob i have is due to the turbo on the bk of the 998 i have to have a non-breather tappet chest cover so how to i get the engine breathing as much as it should?

i'll have to drill & tap my housing then, & i'll use the breather from my tappet cover & weld that to a pipe & make a base to go on the housing! should do the job!

is the wire woll needed, i mulled over the idea of taking it out of my breather or am i wrong to do so!

You only need the wire woll if you are feeding back into the carb, not needed for a catchtank.

Either make the catchtank easy to remove so you can tip any oil out, or put a drain plug in.

would it be possilbe to fit a drain to the catch can and drain it back in to the engine via the breather on the crank case(mg and turbo engines have)

this is what a friend of mine does on his 106 rally car to prevent him running out of oil after 5 mins, his engine breathes extremely heavily when booted "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"
