well trolling out in the spud today and shifting from 2nd to 3rd on 5 psi boost , i was rewarded with a nasty solid crunching shearing noise ,and ground to a holt .

ill put up a pic of it when i get it all apart wil, i guess that the teeth cracked at avon ,and then one or 2 teeth came off ,fell in the works and broke off the rest, they are all crcked at the base so i dont think a bearing has gone ....time will tell !!
