is it correct in what they say about the 'beak' in the chambers on a standard head glowing red hot at 5psi or over causing detonation? 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi

phew, good job as i have the standard head unmodded and looking for around 10psi. 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi

I designed some brace bars for mine similar to these as there was too much flex from the standard items available. Mine are a lot beefier and allow the fitment of the ally side mounted rad. My set and these are the only two examples of this type I have seen. Mine are made from 2" diamiter tube 3mm wall thickness.

i've not seen Mike in many years, he used to go to the london and surrey mini owners club meetings, then probably the last time i saw him was at one of the first few avon parks. |
