after one year suspens, it's done . I have a e85 available at the pump!
what I know is that I'll have to richen my carbys up to about 20%, completely review advance, and the best keep my std head and pistons and big boost *happy* !.
who know more on that stuff and mods that I'll have to make?

Make sure your fuel lines and seals are compatible with the ethanol, it can cause some rubbers to perish or turn to jelly.

Things like the diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator are bits i would watch out for?

I have had a read around on E85 compatibility, and there is losts of contradictory info.

some say any NEW fuel hose will be ok despite not being approved for E85.

some say stainless fuel lines are essential

some say all the ally components will need anodising

some say the E85 will scour all the rust and debris out of the tank and lines and it'll end up clogging everything.

of course some people say the exact opposite to these statements.

I would include a couple of nice large rebuildable filters in the lines that i could periodically inspect, especialy in the first few weeks.

about the fuell lines I have polyeth ones, even not satisfied by the diam (5mm inner and 8 mm inner) will use the first for feed and secound for return in a first time, then will upgrade if needed,

about the carb I though to use coating but only in the float chamber, which will have float bowl extension kit, but no coat in manifolds etc, tank already been chemicaly cleaned phosphated and coated with epoxy vernish stuff ( but didn't though about the big filter, good idea :) ) .
about the pressure reg diaph , if I remember it's a flat round piece of rubber , in which material should I reproduce it?
