Both you and me know that you'dd have to change to Force-wheels sooner or later. It'll look better and drive better *wink* If you in addition to this add bumpers and fit the proper Mk3 tail lamps, you'll be properly sorted :)

I was so impressed with this car when i saw it at some shows last summer. It's just so tidy. Not a fan of big wheels, but these actually look alright. Really like the debumpered look and the front wheel arches are cool.

Very nice car, looks like a nicely done project where every part seems to compliment ever other part of the car. Good work, just a question though. you got it on the rollers, so how much (hp that is)?

Cheers ! 1293, Forged Pistons, Carillo rods, big valve head, T2 on Metty manifold, SC box/drops, Tran-x LSD, 1.5 ratio rockers, lightened steel flywheel/backplate etc
Made 184hp on Baldwins rollers last year with 16psi.
I'm used to the wheels now, but when i drove a 10" wheeled Mini last it felt insane ! Like being on ice. lol. So i guess the steering's heavy ..........

I made them mate. Got some scrap chequer plate from a farm trailer maker, drew round some car mats and cut it with a jigsaw. Cost me a grand total of F-ALL ! & will never wear out.

Yep, wicked car.

Not a big on I.C.E. but when Phil played me "she sells sanctury" by The Cult at Avonpark once it blew me away!

Nice to see it on PB's rollers, I know that fridge and brew kit well!

How's about this for a thread resurrection. 11 years since I last posted on this.
Anyway I've done a bit more to the car lately in anticipation of getting it back on the road next year.
It needed two new sills and a few other bits so the passenger side had a half floor fitted and the drivers side was a little better only needing the sill and a small bit cut out and a plate welded in. After that I removed nearly 35kg with a change of seats, FG boot lid, removed the heater, FG bonnet, rear pockets sound deadening and seat overhang removed. Next is to fit the poly Windows, Force racing 10" wheels, rear discs and quite a few other mods.

Phil.
