never tried it but I think I got this from Bill Jones (not quite shure but someone off the speedtalk board) so it should work.

he used a piece of metal tape measure ( curved and springy steel) and epoxy to create a insert on pushrod holes in yank v8's.

I have seen al kinds of different methods.. aluminium,thick walled cast iron. but this needs very little tools.
