This was very upseting; quote from the email I've taken this from :

Please Please Please take the time to sign this and view the footage, having just signed the petition myself (something I don't frequently do) I was horrified to see that just over 300,000 people have sign it so far (no doubt increasing by the second), with in the UK alone over 1.5 million people recently signed a petition to try and save themselves some money(road charges petition).

It never ceases to amaze me how people will stand up and be counted when money is at stake and yet when it is something which doesn't directly affect them they choose to stay quiet.

I won't preach I only ask that if you do one thing in your life to help the natural history of this planet, you sign this petition and help stop the pain and suffering these magnificent creatures are experiencing.

The video is very disturbing but, if it makes you sign the petition, then watch it.

if you looked properly at the video Veg, they says that its sold as whale meat.

And being a fellow Norwegian I do not agree on your statement :"We kill whales for fun" And I do not see a big need for it...

im no veggie but the way they treat them is just wrong.

what theyre doing may not be particularly wrong, but the way they are doing it is incredibly inhumane.

just imagine if all of Japan signed a petition to stop the ownership of minis and our goverment listerned to them, [i know its not going to happen] you'd all say what the fooks it got to do with japan what we do, bla bla,.

Thats a bit harsh Carl, Minis dont have fear and pain like dolphins.
OK they may need dolphin meat to live on, but they could do it all in a more humane way.

when we all eat fish and chips, do we give a thought to how the fish was caught, years ago it was by drift net which ripoped the gills out of the fish ,usually untill it died, now it trawled,either way its not a pleasent way to be hearded whilst the fitter species decieds to land you then let you drown to death in air,

i have a friend who worked in an abortoir years ago and he reliably informs me the animals could sence there fate inside the building, just before they had a bolt fired into there shulls,

there is no easy way toi kill an animal, we could let then die of natural causes but then they amy be as tough as old boots and deseased,

m wev'e all cought crabs and fish as kids and left them in the bucket for days on end untill they die,

we are no different, just less bloody.

I wish I could be a forthright as Carl.

We are just to distanced from food reality. Abnimals have no sense of death; they may sense something is different and be nervous but they dont know. It's us humans extending out emotions to animals.

I'm all for free range rearing, but ultimately it dies we have lovely food. I can happily accept this.

I haven't watched the vid, sounds like veggie propaganda to me.

Edit, watched it, didn't look any curler than a lion killing it's prey. Just on a massive scale.

what im realiy against is wild animals getting killed! especialy like that!

another thing that realy gets me is monkeys anf gorliaz getting killed for teeth and crap! also the what chinies do to cats and dogs, they kill them for there furr for fuck sake! theres plenty og man made matirials that could be used!
