I initially fabricated a bracket along the lines of Nic's however I was not able to tighten op one of the bolts on my exhaust manifold due to the inner radius on my manifold being too tight to get a socket on the nut, I can just about do up a K-nut using an open spanner from above (you can see the nut I mean in the picture below) I'm guessing not all Mirage manifolds are 100% the same.

mine was mounted on the manifold and i had no heat troubles with it all.
1152cc turboed mini clubman, most powerful 1.1L a-series?

Opinions on this set up, had a few problems clearing my top engine steady so i just had to keep winding the actuator towards the housing until it fit, pretty rigid too and is an easy alternative if your naff with a welder - as i am. |
