I initially fabricated a bracket along the lines of Nic's however I was not able to tighten op one of the bolts on my exhaust manifold due to the inner radius on my manifold being too tight to get a socket on the nut, I can just about do up a K-nut using an open spanner from above (you can see the nut I mean in the picture below) I'm guessing not all Mirage manifolds are 100% the same.

After looking around for other ideas, didn't like Will & Ben's bracket as it meant you can't have a top engine steady, I came up with this mad idea of my own (taking inspiration from blown_imp's supercharger mounts):

What do you reckon?

My only concern is heat from the turbo, but hopefully it'll be OK. and please don't laugh at my crap welding, it was hard enough trying to hold three pieces on metal in place & weld them at the same time.

mine was mounted on the manifold and i had no heat troubles with it all.

looks like a good way of doing it:)

i was thinking of doing the same placing it to the manifold
or downpipe but i thought with all that heat that it would some how affect the actuator (internally)

Opinions on this set up, had a few problems clearing my top engine steady so i just had to keep winding the actuator towards the housing until it fit, pretty rigid too and is an easy alternative if your naff with a welder - as i am.
