That VEMS has VE learn.

Not quite MEMS but closer than MSII

*surprised*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Do a search for autotune and amc (automatic mixture control) on the MS site.

By the way, this is not a contest between MS and VEMS. You seem to think VEMS is great and MS is crap. Then go ahead, buy a VEMS, put it on your car, and tell everyone how to set it up. I'm sure everyone will be happy to have an alternative for fuel injection.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I also think MS2 is far from perfect but with thousands of successful installations, very good documentation, and great support on the forums, I think that it is a good choice. From what I can see VEMS has none of these so even if the hardware is great, if you can't make it do what you need it's useless.

Jean, I agree that MS2 is well documented and capable, I have one on my 4age engine in my kit and it does all I need. I also agree that improvements could be made but I am not a good enough programer to do the software changes or electronics designer to do the hardware changes.

To that end I will fit it and use it to it's capability at that time as it works well for me.

I hear you are the man for doing the software side of things ... for that I salute you .... keep up the good work.

I have seen VEMS fitted and running but it does seem to be more trouble than MS2. Put it this way my 4age ran for 4 hours on the road and 3 on the RR and is near perfect now. My mate had a similar 5 hours road time then 39 hours on the rollers .... still not happy with the map. God is he happy that we can get RR time at cost!"!!!!

Jean,

What's the latest on your MS2 siamese code?

I've still got my bench test and car install in place for testing - is the jumping reference point on the wheel decoder code still a problem?
