Here is the guide I wrote.

Any comments about it would be helpful as I can update it if there is something obvious missing

Don't try and contact me via the 'contact me' email as it dosen't exist yet.

Very useful site, hopefully I'm going to have a go at hill climbing in 2007.

Only point to note is the links to the different sections on the page don't work with Firefox, although they work fine with internet explorer.

Yes that date is right. It's a bit confusing though.

All it's saying is that with a national B licence you can't drive single seaters or sports libra cars manufactured after 31/12/60 if they are over 2000cc (unless theyare road registered).

One thing that does seem to be missing from the direct information available and via the main links is "How much???"

I can find the £30 registration fee but not the typical cost of competition entry per event.

Might be worth mentioning or linking to a page that does as I am sure I'm not alone in thinking .... looks like fun but can I aford it????

or even a layout of a typical season/meeting cost.

not a bad idea but i'm guessing it varies so much.

That's a good point.

I'll get something added.

As as starting point, entries cost generally between £70 and £110.

I generally put aside another £100 to cover fuel to get there and back, racing fuel, camping costs (if needed) and food.

A set of tyres (even super soft ones) should last a couple of seasons.

Then there are winter or midseason re-build costs. These can range from zero to thousands.
