I have just started to look into injection fuel line stuff for the first time,

with things like fse fuel regs is it ok to just use a hose and clamp?

with injecton pressure (50psi ish?) plus the boost pressure (25 psi) reaching perhaps 80 psi or more seeing hose tails in the links leave me a little worried,

Decent hose barb fitings will be slightly over-size, and require the hose to be warmed or worked before fitting. That, and pukka hose clips (not jubilee clips) will no doubt be well upto the job.

It is a PITA dis-connecting them however - and this is what swayed my descision to go with pukka alloy compression fittings.

Cheer's Dave, i thought that may be the case but better safe than ect...

basicly if it's snug as fook its ok!

by not jubilee I asume you mean these hose finishers?

the plan is to just use proper fittings for the fuel rail, the i can just unbolt those connections to remove the engine and everything esle can stay in place.

Dont forget that whatever rubber hose you intend to use, IS rated for efi pressures.

Most hose suppliers will say it is, but unless it actually says its proper pressure rating on it....beware.

I know Gates defo make some normal rubber hose that is rated for decent pressures.
