I finally finished convertiing my engine over to a fuel injection turbo setup. It took a bit to get it to run, but once it fired it took about an hour to get it so where I could drive it around. I tuned it a bit last night and a little more this morning, its still really rich across the board but seems to run fine.

I am running in wasted spark mode with multipoint injection. Currently I have two 30 lb/hr injectors with some 40's ready to go in if necessary.

To trigger the ECU I am using a motronic wheel (60-2) with a hall effect without the use of a home signal. I have a throttle body off a stock turbo dodge (Tps sensor and Idle air also T.D.)

The turbo is from a Pugeot diesel, which seems to like running at 15psi.....and the engine isnt complaining. The coils are from a Gm LS1 V8

Very interesting.

Presumably you are using the Haltech E6X?

When you say multi-point, do you have precise control over the timing and duration of the injector pulses?

Dave,

I would post larger pictures but currently I dont have any on a site that will host them in the size that I took them in.

I'll post them on my friends site later today, maybe tomorrow, and then you'll get your wish.

The wires are also from a comaro/vette. On those cars the coils are on the valve coves just above the plugs so the wires can be really short.

Awesome conversion !!! Dare I ask where the exhaust exits ???

I recently fitted a couple of Haltech E8 ecu's to A Subaru and a Cossie. I found it a pretty good ecu to work with.
The E8 is a lot more versatile than the E6 range.
On both cars, it was able to use all factory sensors and triggers, which is handy.
