Looks like it fits where the dizzy would be. Doesnt look like they do one for the A series, but maybe some one can make similar, cant be that hard. Infact would be quite easy to fit a cam sensor inside an SPi dizzy, cos theres nowt in there anyway.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I had a cam phase sensor made from a dizzy when i was on Weber Alpha. All pretty simple stuff TBH.

I don't know if it's any help but I came across a zetec turbo on the web which got round the cam sensor issue by inserting to large grub screws into the cam.

It's not pretty but it works, apparently.

Why dont you just modify a sensor to fit inside the dizzy head and reads the rotor arm???

Failing that if you need to keep the dizzy operational, put a sensor in the rotating shaft (prob underneath and behind the mechanism) and machine a slot in it

Isnt the electronic ignition dizzy just a magnetic trigger anyway ? with 4 teeth on it ?

If you need 1 tooth, cut the other 3 off.
