Right guys i'm going to SC my mpi but also quad in ject it at the same time. Now having spoken to VMAX, they are giving away nothing other than the use of the Eaton M45 as expected so the way i see it is there is obv a way to do this but he doesnt want to give away his secrets to anyone. Fair play.

But i want to build it myself, VMAX is a drive in, drive out job, so i need to know how i should postion the injectors?
which MS to use? (i believe its v3 due to the stepper?)
If i would be better goin to 7 port head first from stage 4?
If i used an emerald M3D would this help or would it run seperate from the MS?

Complicated eh?

also if you could reply in as close to northern english as possible that would be reet gud as they say round 'ere!

Cheers

Hey up laddo.

If you are going to do it yer sen then a seven port ead will mek it reet easy as tha'll be able to use one injector t'inject each inlet port!

All t'grief wi port robbing and moving t'injection events is due t'siamese int'cylinder ead.

Though t'seven port ead does not have reet big chamber volumes, so you'll need to look into fettling a bit out of it to get comp ratio down fort'supercharger.

Vmax just modded my 7 port head, 24cc chambers was as far as Stuart was comfortable with.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Hmm yes, the K1100 is a good option if you are willing to put in the effort,

the 7 port pretty easy, as all std mini bits fit, bloody heavy though!!!!!!

dunno about the elder tho, looks like a good option except maybe the exhaust routing through the head. I'd really like to see one in the flesh

Ken elder in australia makes an alloy 8 port with the valves in the same order as the std head, here's a link to his website (watch the popups)

You dont need a 7 or 8 port head to this effectively, if you inject your fuel before the SC the you can use 2 injectors successfully, you just tell your ECU to fire them alternately (like I have). If your in no hurry I can try and post some pics of how I did it (bit radical but Im not a sheep!) will also be producing kits for you to fit yourself, Vmax kit is ok...........but why settle for ok?!?!?! LOL

I'd be very interested in that kit. Not in a hurry as its got to wait till back end of september before i can start on it as Nurburgring is in 11 days. then weddings and stuff.

so please send me the pics so i have a better idea.

cheers

Will prob be early october before any results are seen (Im also getting married and away on honeymoon til 3/10/06)

I Have looked at a few Vmax conversions and can see the faults in them and how they can be rectified, hence why Im looking into offering a different kit. Some wrinkles to smooth out though, but it will work with std or aftermarket ECUs
