I had the same problem with him i wanted my mini set up on his rollers and he did not seem interested to do it, when i asked him what it will cost just to tweak it to get optimum performance he just said dont know and dont care!!!! starting a full rebuild....is this a wise choice?

Sounds totally the opposite to Peter Baldwin. We spent about an hour either side of tuning my car just chatting about racing with him. really nice guy :) |

Can't say I was over impressed when he set up my old NA 1293, I don't know if he did a good job or not as the engine only lasted 24 hours after the roller. But he didn't give the engine as much care and attension as other rolling roads, so I won't be taking the turbo there when it's finished. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

Its a shame his people skills are non-existant, which they most definatly are, as his porting work is some of the best i've ever seen - if you want a race head that is. Infact i'd go as far as saying that he achives the best finish i've ever seen in person.
I've seen the future and tbh its Pie

not that it effects me, but Up North, R + P woods are the way forward !!! they let me sit in on a closed session whilst they got my rally x car sweet, he had to do alot of extra tinkering at no extra cost for me too, whats more he was super "Anal" about everything, checking and rechecking, then checking again. two bods on the car. one doing the adjustment and the other behind the controls !!! no interuptions........as much tea and coffee as i could consume and once more it only cost me 45 quid for the use !!!! i did have a bad experience there, but it was my fault not using ARP rod bolts. it cost me a full engine at 6500 rpm the end cap came off number 1. Paul was mint about it, I could see he felt really bad, but it was my fault. he even came to my house to inspect my rebuild stage by stage, then RR it for free (2nd time around)
