Look s perfectly fine to me (so much so mine might be off later for some attention). The bracket is for the damper only, it takes no weight of the car. Unless you bottom out your damper the max force on it is governed by the damper settings.

I've got Kad rear arms and disc set up but all the front is normal weight arms. 530kg still not alot of weight for the power you have :) Avon 2010 class c 3rd

Well ive spent the last 6 weeks messing about with the wiring. After completely rewiring everything this is what ive ended up with...much neater than before, just needs to be wrapped now (but that'll wait until everything thoroughly tested!).

Hmm I tried turn down my input gear using a similar method and I just took the tip off the tool. This is what im trying to bore out, but with it having splines im worried that it would just smash the tool to pieces.

It probably needs to be opened out about 6-7mm on the diameter, to that faint mark around the splines. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Its an original bracket, so original material, steel bolts and no helium involved yet. lol I bet mr wiginton can guess, he knows all the tricks of the trade. lol Bit of a late reply, but, I had aluminium brackets when I ran shocks on mine. Theyre on my other mk1 now I seriously doubt it! |

Very similar, the pin was higher and more inboard. The rod was aluminium with a steel pin tapped into it I seriously doubt it! |

For an interrupted cut, like an internal keyway or that gear with internal teeth, use a toolpost grinder on the lathe. Grinding wheel O.D. about 80% of that gear I.D., running about 30000 rpm. |

If you want to soften the steel you will need to get it light orange to yellow in colour when viewed in natural diffused light (above 950ºc) and allow to cool slowly in air. Its unlikley this will leave the out part of the part with its original hardness even if you concentrated the heat in the centre. So you would need to re heat treat the assembled part after welding. Might be better to find away the machine in hardened condition |

I realise I'm about 4 years too late with this post, but why did you abandon the ITBs and go for a single tb. Would itb's and a plenum not fit under the bonnet or was there another reason?

Yeah it was simply because it wouldn't fit, and it was easier all round to fit a single TB, it would fit in a clubby easily enough though.

Rich - nothing major. My bearings have arrived for my gearbox so i'll be boring the layshaft holes in the next week. Apart from that ive only managed to start lightening my seat subframes. Will get some pics up soon though.
