Hopefully I should receive my long waited 7075 top arms by the end of the month. Just waiting for anodising and bushes.

Carnforth, Lancs

I saw those on their Faceache page and thought they looked very thick where the ball joint pin goes through - I presume they leave enough thread engagement on the pin though?

Are they welded along that edge in the top pic or is that just a shit-ton of tool chatter???
I know 7075 is a bitch (but far from impossible) to weld, so I suspect just chatter...

It is chatter. Apparently looks worse in the pic.

leeds/wakefield.

It won't be chatter, but the 3D mill tool paths.

but they could have done with a rad on some of those ext corners but I suspect they take too long as it is to mill.

tool paths make sense, JK mention on FB that they were done on 5 axis, and from what Ive seen you can get this kind of thing from tool paths when when both bits are moving.

Yeah, I agree on the radiuses, would have looked a lot nicer, not to mention easier on the knuckles if you slip with a spanner

Engines nearly ready for dropping into the subframe. Just missing a few more Ti bolts, a fan belt and seem to have lost the oil filter housing union.

That is a work of art.
Almost a shame to hide it in an engine bay.

Can't believe you considered not putting that together! Amazing. The sequential injectors look neat, do you happen to know if they'll go on his 16v rampipes?

Form AND function - really impressive, but are you going to keep those nasty red and blue anodized fittings ?

Apparently oven cleaner will take the colour off and then a bit of polishing and they will match the rest.

Just don,t leave the oven cleaner on too long as it will eat them away.

These look lovely, claimed weight 710g. How does that compare to the Force Racing titanium ones?

I know what you mean. I'm using the blue & red fitting throughout the entire fuel and oil system. At the price they are in not changing them for black and Silver.
