Get the a-series in the back! If your going vtec don't forget the turbo! You will still be waiting for the boost when it's on the redline!

Well as Ben has let the cat out of the bag a little,, after a little trip to Mini Spares first for some bits and a bit of a tart up I think its almost there. But I need to get some new springs first as I think they are to soft for the weight.

The more times I see this post the more I think it's a wind up.

I'm surprised you managed to get the Honda lump in so quickly, I assume you needed to modify the inner wings a d front panel, bulkhead.. I know I did!

*happy*

suppose if youve already thought of the wiring and exactly where everything has to go then not too bad

but taking account chopping up bulkheads and inner wings
also pretty sure honda conversions need an extended front end or atleast a flip front :o

STILL WANT PICS SIMON *happy*

I mentioned extended front (in the beginning) when I saw / assumed 2 things,

1.) it was going in the front *happy* - assumption
2.) The subframe shown was being used (In the form / condition it was shown) - in the front... *happy* - saw it

I don't think a B16/18 VTEC but has ever been fitted under std length front with the subframe as shown, could be wrong (probably am)

I think VTEC's (Specifically B16/18) are probably the most common 16v / hybrid conversion under a std round nose - so no problem to achieve std length front - if another subframe was used or the one shown was hacked up - especially it's length.

However if it was fitted to the rear - all bets are off *happy* Of course still std front but, if the subframe was used as it was shown the rear track will be pretty wide and the front would need adjusting to suit (or look right) I guess?

I agree, I suspect that this project has been underway longer than advertised *tongue*
