Personal opinion is that particular wheel (GB Minilite?) looks far better without the centre cap fitted.

Yeah, just looks a bit rattier though? No big deal either way. Certainly wont be spending any money to buy+paint a new cap.

They're totally different caps to all the GB ones I have I'm afraid!

I used a few rattle cans to do the bonnet. :)

So, I spent 20 mins this morning lowering the rear. I need to do the front a smidge too, but it looks better already. I had to pop out so I couldn't do both this morning.

I do get a bit of rubbing on the arches, but I think the dampers on the rear look standard (just black jobbies) so I'll get some stiffer ones and that should cure it.

Also, the fantastic Min-Its proved themselves to be one of the best parts suppliers again, I ordered some track rod ends and some bushes after lunch yesterday, and they arrived this morning. Amazing. :)

Great work Alex. Personally I think it would look better with the bonnet fitted normally though.

It can't, the ill-fitted Frontend means that there is a 1 inch gap at the back if I put it on properly.

Heh. I am still thinking about replacing the front. Who makes good quality FG/CF fronts? Or, should I put together a metal front, if so, who makes decent panels?

There is not much between the grp manufacturers, might be better refitting the one you have as it will be as much work to fit a new one and the results may be no better.

Can you repair holes in fibreglass and retain some stength? I reckon if I could patch up the holes in the front and cut a better angle into the wings, it would look a bit nicer.

Yes you can reparr the GRP and keep the stremgth, possible adding sone thin plywood to help is needed.

Personally, for a road car I'd stick with steel (unless the rest of your car is made of GRP of course)
