Thanks for the comments lads

I want to get it on the scales at some point just don't know anywere locally that can do it. Might take it to the local scrap yard and put it on the weigh bridge

Been ironing out all the little problems with the car over the last few months and it is finally running good I am off to York raceway tomorrow so I will see what it will do.
I have bought some titanium top arms but not had time to fit them and wizards of nos nitrous kit. I have ran 25hp up to now and hoping to give 50 a go tomorrow.

How tall are you? you may as well just sit on the rear bench and save the weight of the seat completely!

Realy nice looking car mate!

However, I would have another look at your harness mount. If I see correctly you have mounted the back straps to the lower bench 'floor'. You'd better mount them higher up to prevent injury to spine in a collision.

There is a thread on here somewhere about harness mounting.

Dazed and Confused....

Not updated this in a while, not much has changed apart from fitting a small alternator, electric water pump and fan.

I have got most the bits for the gearbox sorted now quaife dog box, Salisbury lsd and a windage tray; so now the aim is to build it up over the Christmas holidays. I have also bought the ecu I went for the omex 710 in the end, they where the most helpful out of all the companies I phoned. So I may need some advice over the next few months when it comes to building the engine box and mapping the ecu.

The gearbox is built up not that you can see much of it behind the windage tray.

I have also picked up the head and exhaust flanges today off Carl, so the aim is to start and build a plenumb and exhaust manifold.

Not updated on my build thread for a while but i have been working on the car when i have had some spare time.

I wasn’t sure how to do the runners on the plenum but in the end i used a router on the alloy with plenty of oil and it worked well here is a few pictures of how i did it

I have also built most of my exhaust manifold just need to fit the external waste gate and build a downpipe but i am waiting on some more bends
