Yes I know what you mean, was just going to see how it went, when all the other work is done, there is one under the gearbox on the passenger side, do you think that may make a difference.. Alan

All very nice alan, I like the idea of using the inlet in the breather system. The only thing I would personally do, but not sure if it would make a lot of difference, is add a bracing to the engine steady bracket on the bulkhead on the passenger side, I can't help but think thats going to move about under stress. Ahh, Didn't spot that one, thought you only had the top two. Should be okay then!

Changed the way I did that, not posted that change up yet, but I’ve done it a lot simpler than before, will take some more pictures later, better than trying to explain, not worked out a switch yet, but it’s simple to do, you can just wire it up to a switched live, but I want to do something different if I can, will keep you posted.. How easy was it to fit the heater tap? as i want to get rid of the inline one or the one on the head to make for a tidier engine bay. Does it shut both sides off completely or is it progressive? And what have you used to control the tap? Cheers. Main Build

About how the tap works, not got water in yet, but I’ve blown through the tap blocking various ends, and I think when the tap is off it still pumps water round from number 4 cylinder.. Alan

That's good to know. I was hoping it would still trickle the water through so as it didn't create a hot spot. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Just thinking, if you can have a switch that allows the motor to turn both ways at a reduced voltage, it should slowly open and close, so you dont have to have it permanently open or closed. Though saying that, I always had mine either off or on!

You could use a rotary switch, and fix the rheostat knob onto it. It should look completely stock. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

No a solenoid is either on or off, but some solenoids can pulsed. I meant you could use an on/off rotary switch then fix the original knob onto it, so it looks original. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

Welded a new pipe to the timing cover, wasn’t enough clearance with the old barrel filter to clear the fan..

Tidy work as usual, looking good. Is the breather going into the rocker cover? |
