iv checked them and there fine mate must just be the picture.

i managed to squeeze the rad in i'll get a pic later as the bat ran out of the camera!

do you think 100mm clearance between the back box and the ground is enough for a road car?
the back box is bigger than a maniflow one.

thanks
josh

It looks like you've fitted the centers the wrong way round in the rims. The flat face should be against the hub. The curved bit should face out.

If I'm not mistaken those are V3's, which have a flatter front profile.
In any case you cannot fit the centres wrong as there is the register on the rear that the rims sit on, and also the rim bolts are counterbored on one side only.

well progress has been slow as iv had family commitments but got all the plates welded in now....

iv also planked off the fuel filler neck hole...

just need to tidy the welds up with the good old grinder and a bit of primer on them.

i bought a nice shiny stainless steel exhaust :)

once i get it on its wheels i will get a engine in so i can make the down pipe and hang the exhaust. then i will get the exhaust welded up to how i want it :)

thanks for looking

josh

it's been awhile since i up dated this but i have been doing bits and pieces today. really want to get this thing built now!!!

made some brackets for the chinq rad.....

fitted the grille

blocked up some more unwanted holes...

made and fitted the plates for the bonnet pins...

this is where im going to mount the oil cooler...

i'll think of a way to get some sort of duct to it to make sure enough air gets too it.

hopefully i will keep the updates more frequent from now on!! :)

thanks

Hi mate looks good! But is that gear change bracket the right way round?

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.
