I/c pipes look tidy, shit to hear about the windscreen though.

I can pop over one evening in the week and help you get the loom in if you want.

Andy if you could do that it would be spot on, ill give you a bit for doing it and you could take the old loom FOC if you like.

cheers andy, ive got no clue whatsoever when fitting a new loom, i wouldnt no where to start.

Start by labelling up the old one, then you have a reference.

Take anything out that is going to get in the way of removing the old one. Things like clocks and tank strap that kind of thing. Should be easy enough to get the new one in.

they don't necessarily have to come of, just disconnect the wiring and label it. It's just stuff that is in the way that needs it's fastenings undoing

Ok, I'm not sure what you need labelling so ill just label anything and everything :)

Tuesday/Wednesday of the loom comes

Been doing the last few jobs before it is ready for an MOT

bled up the rts, I used 2 valeo clutches with the ap racing rally/race plate, it fairly very heavy on the foot, just to give you an idea on how heavy it is, our lass couldn't even push the pedal while sat normally, but could use the standard turbo clutch with no probs, definately heavier than bretts rts with the 2 ap springs.

Got a new window fitted as mine got smashed



Also had a new wiring loom fitted, massive thanks to andy bellamy and brett for giving me a hand (doing the whole lot for me), I had 2 full carrier bags full of my old loom the new loom only half filled one, I had soo much shit that wasn't even needed. Everything looks soo much tidier now.




Decided I fancied a change and my interior was a little too 'racey' for a walnut dash and wrapped my dash in carbon fibre wrap, looks really good in the flesh, 10x better than the scratched wood.



Just need to order some oil and see if it will fire up, hoping to get 150-160bhp on john sleaths rollers at 18psi, I have a similar spec to the andy and johns van, minus their fancy head, gt17 and mj, we'll see what happens. If all goes to plan and I don't get to many suprises at the MOT station it should be at MITP.

The peddle may be heavyer but bet mine will hold alot more power before i slip it lol

Glad I could help out. The old loom was a right mess - somebody had wired an entirely new sidelight circuit round the whole car, just because of a loose clip in the fuse box!

passenger side full beam isn't working but we had power when you left so I reckon I've knocked a connection when tie wrapping the wires under the slam panel or its my headlight, ill try swapping them over and try the connections tonight.

I owe you one andy, what do you prefer for MITP? Pack of lager or a flask of tea?
