Metro Van just needs running in and a few minor tweaks (more boost *smiley*). I think John is still a long way of though, so we may be sharing a car again...

well the car is in bits for welding and a re-spray. need to get the boot floor painted and get the rear frame back on, refit the master cylinders and wiring loom, get the engine back up and running, prep and paint and put it all back together again - plenty of time!

got my engine out atm for a few odds and sods, will be fitted in plenty of time. Only trouble is i don't think i'll be able to afford everything involved in getting the mini to avon (trailer hire, fuel etc) MITP will be a definate though.

just read this on shakesperes website

*For 2010 Shakespeare County Raceway offers a wide and varied selection of Public Track Day RWYB events catering for all tastes. To compete all you need is a vehicle. This will be checked for safeness by the raceway's knowledgeable scrutineering crew, seatbelts, suitable clothing, a valid driving licence and a crash helmet.

*PLEASE NOTE; Crash helmets will now be a requirement of the Raceway for all drivers taking part in any RWYB Public Track Day or lifestyle events. There will be no exceptions. The requirement is there for your safety. If you are competing with a motorcycle, a helmet, leathers, gloves and boots are required. No trainers of jeans allowed.
