got a bit done over the weekend... dry fitted the rear suspention and stuff also made some exhaust brackets, got it sitting nice and high. think I will fit a two piece hand brake cable as the cable straddle thing will be very tight.

it's a nice change from cutting and sticking.

not sure if the plate on the inside will be big enough? it's about 50x50mm

also started mocking up the front, opened up her mouth nice and wide *wink*

the grille didn't come with anything on the sides here... think it will need something as it's a bit floppy...

I have being messing around with my hand brake and gear stick position, made up a adaptor to run a twin cable, just need to get some thicker steel to make the final mounts. think I will leval off the selector houseing and run it a bit lower.

Nearly 3 years since I last posted here! in that time a lot has happened but not a huge amount on the car. The Mrs and I borght a house together about 18months ago, got a pretty sweet garage and it's now set up nicely so work is back underway... few pics to show you where I am up to.

I would like a few opinions on the intercooler pipe running across the hot side of the rad? It is the hot side of the cooler but I am not sure if this is a big no no with regards to restricting the air flow for for the rad or increasing the air temp in the intercooler pipe work?
Cheers

Thanks dave
down pipe is a Matty one, back box is play mini I believe, and the pipe is just 2" stainless tube form eBay. it's a bit hevey as I could only fine 2mm stuff long enough. the mounts for the back box I made myself, it could probably do with a gearbox mount as well.
the beam is force raceing steel job.

But I think I would be more worried about getting enough air throught the radiator / insufficient cooling of the engine.
Must be someone on here with experience.

Dazed and Confused....
