I went to this event when it first started and was organised by Mini Magazine. Must have been about 1992 or thereabouts.
I went in my red T reg and hoped to get on the track. However it only just got me to the venue. It kept losing water and overheating. I used up a bottle of drinking water and then was resigned to collecting rainwater out of puddles on the roadside just to keep it going.

Heres some old photos I have from the day. I got more somewhere of the static displays. I remember seeing a clubman with a 2L engine out of a Vauxhall or Ford.
