right well got my ass into gear yesterday and did some of the wiring, i'd say i got the rear loom plugged in and the switches, some of the engine done. i need a fusebox so once that turns up that will tidy up a lot of the other lose wires i have around the bulk head. need to start on the centre clock next so i'll bring that in as i can do that in doors.

8mm for supply and return will be fine for your fuel lines. I always used braided fuel hose, but a lot use 8mm microbore copper pipe. On 15th Jul, 2009 fastcarl said:

I ran 8mm everywhere, even between the reg and carb without any leaks. I ran upto 18psi boost on those lines without problem.

Yeah i noticed that you've got the new external wastegate, i mean't is that bit welded on the exhaust side of the turbo for the old internal wastgate/actuator? sorry. :) Edited by george91 on 27th Apr, 2011. |

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder. On 15th Aug, 2011 robert said:

hmmm maybe, but its pretty tight down there and if anything im grateful for the extra space when fitting the exhaust so i think considering space and bitch value it works where it is for me anyway. |

When using an external wastegate if you pipe the dump pipe back into the exhaust down pipe you MUST MUST MUST!! put it back in AFTER the lambda sensor by a decent distance,

Lighting up in the downpipe sounds fun though Joe! If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
