Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

We hope to do some testing with the new sequential ECU soon, so I need to get the CNPs mounted in the car:

As long as it works with a 5V signal, it should be fine.

Bit of a post excavation. Could I use 4 of these as CNP?: (I want to run them via a MS3X) http://www.quickerbuy.com/products/bosch-i...97-98-422597135 (has transistor module on bracket) I can get these (real Bosch versions, no copies) for nearly nothing. The thing that worries me is I think I need to find out dwell times and spark duration, don't I? If it is exactly as in the picture. It looks like a conventional inductive coil. So you will need to use an external ignition amplifier with it. I doubt the MS can drive an inductive coil directly. Although it does look like in the photo there is a small amp beside the coil ? What a weird setup Edited by stevieturbo on 20th Jan, 2012. 9.85 @ 145mph

coil comes with the amp on the volvos, so you would need 4 coil + amp assemblies. and yes youll need to find out the dwell times. tbo there are much more compact and modern setups out there with the igniter built into the coil.
