If I face the problems with engine fumes, I can change the air intake to the left wing with the duct. BTW the cabin ventilation works very good now. I have two fans in dash so that other blows to the windows and other to the floor. And they weight only a fraction of that original fan system. Yes there is no heating but I think turbo will do that...

I'm using fans like this.

http://www.ebmpapst.com/en/products/compac...SESSID=edcwraol

It gives way much blow that original fan. It weights 0.160 kg :)

It think you can get similar fans from local electronic shop. This particular fan cost about 30-40€.

Finally got my Mini on the road, I have still some broblems because turbo will only charge 0.25bar eventhoug I got bleed valve installed. Is it possible that turbo actuator spring is to weak so that the bleed valve wont work properly. If I take actuator pipe out it will charge easily over 1bar. (I just once tried that)

here is some pictures also.

So updates to this project. I have now the parts for Water to Air intercooler and here is some pictures about idea how these parts will fit in to the engine bay. Pipe from turbo goes to the driver side wing and there to front where "pre intercooler is" yes i know that it might do nothing for cooling but I think it looks cool :) then trought the cooler and back to plenum. I have thought that I remove the engine fooling fan and move the radiator as near as possible to the wing side so that pipes goes under the radiator pipes.

What do you think is the electric fan behind the radiator enough to keep the water temperature low???
And what do you think about rigidity about inner wing if I cut the radiator size hole into it. I have to cut also to the passenger side hole for the water cooling radiator and fan.

Here is some pictures... BTW wery nice wether here in Finland garage temp was about -15C :)

New place for oil cooler.

How do you find those seats, I am looking to purchase some but was a little concerned they may be a touch wide.

I have liked those Sparco Rev+ seats cause they are very confortable even in longer drives. They fit quite well when you put the drivers seat a bit further than passenger seat.

Thanks, they seem light too according to specifications which is a bonus.

Yes they are quite light, but my fixing brakets are all steel so they weight a lot. One project is to make them of aluminium.

Have you any comments of removing the radiator fan from engine side? So is the electric fan behind the rad enough.

I've known a few people run a side mounted rad without the mechanical fan on an NA engine but can't recall how well this worked; I suppose it will depend on the performance of the electric fan as well;

I'm sure there is some research somewhere which suggested that the mechanical fan has little or no effect above a certain speed - cant put my hand to it right now though

cool idea, some have fitted a suck type fan in the inner wing, mine had one when i bought it.

there good as an extra cooling aid in traffic and hot days, but won't do much when you get to a certain speed like rob said. if your having cooling troubles when your up to speed, you'll need a more efficient rad.

They are.
Going slightly O/T but... PC fans come in 80mm, 92mm, 120mm and 140mm variety. Shift various amounts of cubic feet of air and do so at different revolutions per minute with different noise levels.
They just have a simple positive and negative wiring pattern so would be a piece of piss to stick in a car.

I have already junked the pc fan and it was only blowing the fresh air in to cabbin... however it was very effective compared to minis regular fan. But thanks guys, I hope I won't ruin this when I start to cut radiator brackets out...
